Roger barked out a booming laugh. “HAH! Same name?! What are the odds?!”
Ace’s eyes went wide in horror. “N-No!” He stammered. “ I-I mean—You’re Roger! Not me! I just meant—uh—ROGERSON! ” he blurted out. “Yep. That’s it. Rogerson Ace! That’s my name!”
Rayleigh stared at him flatly. “That sounds fake.”
“That’s 100% fake.”
“Definitely fake.”

He's not sure what his intention is right now but his feet carry him through the bar on their own and for once, the small rational part of his brain wins and he decides to go back to the ship.
Right until someone pulls at his tail.
He swirls around with a vicious snarl that hurts his throat and comes face to face (chest) with a huge, hulking figure. After a moment too long his gaze snaps up to growl into Kids angry face.
“You think you can stare at me like that all night and then just dip? The fuck is your problem?!”
The scent hits him like a wrecking ball, rolling off of Kid in waves. It's metallic and sharp, screaming delicious menace and danger.He wants to eat him.
