“Hey, this was my favourite!” JD said happily, inspecting a dusty can of candy from a box in the room across.
“Uh, yeah,” Branch said. “I knew. Um, know.”
JD’s smile turned stricken. Branch turned away, fiddling with Poppy’s hand. If he’d had it his way, they never would’ve even stepped foot in his bunker, but, well, he didn’t get his way.

Brozone decides to spend some time together, to ‘get to know each other again’, and it happens to be spent in Branch’s bunker. In doing so, Branch’s brothers finally learn why his hair is quite a bit duller than they remember.

Summary
In this telling, the brothers never split up, but during the night of the escape, Troll Village loses their King and many other trolls by the tunnels collapsing. To ease those who made it, John Dory stepped up as an unofficial leader.
Time passes, with everything being (seemingly) okay. That is until Branch approaches Bruce, the village's matchmaker, for help. Not wanting to encourage Branch's feelings towards the outcasted ex-princess, Bruce does everything to stop their relationship from developing. What he doesn't realize is how his actions will have unwanted consequences (for the older brothers, anyway).

Summary
Out of all his brothers, Branch had always felt the closest to Floyd. They’d been the closest in age, despite the obvious gap with all his brothers. He’d shared anything and everything with Floyd, whether that was an extra cookie after dinner or his tears after a bad dream. He loved all his brothers, but he thinks he loved Floyd the most.
That’s why it hurts even more that, just like all his brothers, Floyd hadn’t come back for him.
