“But there’s something you didn't tell me,” Will says, stopping and staring at Dustin, as he sinks back into his pillow. “Something kind of crucial.” He leans forward slightly, lowering his voice even more, turning the words into a furious whisper.
“You didn’t care to tell me that he’s a… vampire.”

I had to run miles, actual fucking miles, before I could even hear your stupid voices droning on about past lives and vervain and tragic bullshit,” he wheezes, still doubled over. “Jesus Christ, my lungs are on fire, my legs feel like jelly, and you two idiots are out here having a goddamn therapy session in the woods while I’m playing human bloodhound.”
“Okay,” he says, holding up his good hand like he’s physically stopping them from spiraling any further. “Here’s what’s not happening. No one’s disappearing forever, no one’s poisoning themselves, and absolutely no one is making a dramatic martyr decision without consulting the only person here who’s actually been thinking.”
“So, in the end, no exile, or bat-form purgatory, or whatever gothic nonsense you two were spiraling into.”

Summary
In 1983, Hawkins went cold and dark; the infected rose up in its population, more came crawling to its borders, and when the quarantine settled in and the walls were built up, Will and his family hadn’t made it out. It had been by the skin of their teeth that someone had managed to smuggle them out to a life free from the cold, from gaping mouths with pointed canines hungry for blood, from the new population of vampires that had risen up among the world’s inhabitants. The infected who had grown cold had stayed locked up in places like Hawkins, and the world had been better for it.
In 1994, Will goes back to look for Mike–his best friend, lover, ex-boyfriend, and, at this point, a stranger for the better part of two years. There’s a token in his pocket he intends to use to get them out of Hawkins’ grip once and for all, but not before he finds out why Mike ran away to a place that had done so much damage to Will.
It’s such a shame they’re both keeping secrets, though.

He staggered back over the edge, crying out. Just in time, Spiderman shot out an arm to grab him from around the waist, pulling Mike out of danger. Mike cursed himself, adrenaline pumping wildly. The superhero chuckled, getting them as far away from the edge of the rooftop as possible, before letting Mike go.
“You okay?” Spiderman asked, and Mike could almost see his grin of amusement.
Mike, on the other hand, was the epitome of embarrassment. “Uh,” He croaked. He felt like crying.
“Seriously, are you going into cardiac arrest?” Spiderman asked, putting a hand on Mike’s shoulder.
Mike felt himself flush deeper. “No. No- yeah. I’m fine. Thank you.” He looked at the ground. The right knee of his khakis was stained oil-black. How had that even happened?
“You sure?” Spiderman squeezed his shoulder. That was not helping at all.
“Yeah.” Mike nodded, and Spiderman released his grip. “Fine. Thanks for…” He trailed off. “Saving me. I guess.”
or, Micheal James Wheeler, an intern at a New York based publishing company, is in love with his best friend. Will Byers, a student majoring in visual arts, is Spiderman. As in THE Spiderman.
