The 5+1 fic that no one asked for but that I wrote on my 12h plane ride.
Edward Elric is thirteen and has been through way too much. After a special unit of the police, lead by Roy Mustang, found the horrible scene that the Elric house displayed two years ago, and the state the Oldest boy was in— Roy dedicated his life to keep Edward safe. That does however entail becoming a foster parent, and having him have a protective detail stuck on Ed. Of course that means that Jean Havoc is stuck doing that… a lot.Or: the big brother Havoc fic that my heart desperately wanted after being obsessed with FMAB for all of five minutes.

This Fic follows young Dick Grayson’s struggles with OCD, through Jason’s eyes. (His OCD had always been there just got a lot worse after his trauma).Jason is the oldest here, btw. Just because I think it’s cute how he would be protective over Dick.
It mostly focuses on Dick and Jay’s brotherly relationship. -

So, he’s their unofficial official leader of sorts. He makes breakfast, he gets everyone and himself to school on time, he works from 3pm-8pm every weeknight and picks up the 8 hour shifts on the weekends so that their family can have enough money for food, school projects, thrift store clothes, and any other expenses that may come up in life. He reads stories to Spencer if he’s unable to fall asleep, (even though the kid has probably been reading Proust and Pound since he was crawling), he goes to JJ and Derek’s games, he helps Penelope with her homework when she doesn’t see the connection at first, and he listens to Emily when she needs a shoulder to cry on.
They’re family, it’s what he’s supposed to do.
