Making a home for the Locked Tomb theories I've written about elsewhere! Mostly focused on the Third and Sixth Houses
Including:
-The Nona-to-Corona Connection: how Nona's entire household might have been our queer-affirming foil to the Third
-unhinged theory about the Hot Sauce Gang and their art (massive series spoilers)
-Immaculate vibes: Close reading of the Third's first scene in GtNJust added: Civil Unrest and Fan Culture in the Third House (Naberius Tern, accidental people's hero?)

Summary
Laudna had always had an affinity for broken, discarded things. Sometimes she mended them, sometimes she found the beauty in their brokenness and turned it into something more, sometimes she just loved them as they were. The cracked crockery left behind by some previous inhabitant, she had mended. The broken windows, she had replaced with shards of colored glass carefully pieced together to fill the empty window frames. Imogen, she had loved.
--
Imogen and Laudna settle in for their first winter together at the foot of the Kaal Mountains, but the local townsfolk aren't exactly welcoming to neighboring witches. Driven from their burning cabin into the harsh mountain winter, they search for a new place to make a home.Bookmarked by BrigitteDunlap

Summary
A shared interest in the arcane and a few throwaway fucks was one thing, had mutual benefit, but the sort of secondhand suffering that curled around Essek’s ribcage and currently crippled his ability to speak was the symptom of something else entirely.
Caleb tilted his head to the side, lifting his chin just enough to glance sideways at the drow. The low flame of the torch sconces dispersed just enough dull light through the room to play cruelly over ghost-pale skin and scabbed-over gashes like claw marks so deep that multicolor bruises radiated around them. Divine healing magic only did so much when there wasn’t enough to go around.
During the Mighty Nein’s future in Rosohna, it takes one too many close calls for Essek to separate the political from the personal, and to realize just how personal his relationship with the party’s wizard had become.Bookmarked by BrigitteDunlap
