Summary
Stede gulps. He can see the rage and fire in Ed’s eyes. “Me!” he says, pointedly staying in place even as Ed looms closer. “Why, um, why are there two of you?”
The Ed in front of him grins. “Because this idiot—” and he pauses to shove the Ed by Stede’s side away “—thought he could get rid of me.”
“You were supposed to be gone!” the other Ed tells him, and he lets out a frustrated huff.
Ed laughs, and it sends a cold shiver down Stede’s spine. “The Kraken will never be gone.”
After Stede's return, things are not all right. Edward decides that the best way to fix it is to get rid of the parts that make him the Kraken. But the Kraken isn't so easy to get rid of, which leaves the Revenge with both the gentle Edward and the vicious Kraken.
But it's fine. Izzy can spend time with the more vicious Blackbeard like he wants, and Stede can spend time with the more gentle Edward like he wants. They all get to be happy. Right?

Summary
Ed looks at the pestle in Stede’s hand, then at Stede’s face. “Pestle?”
Stede nods, then gets that creeping sense of embarrassment he’s alarmingly familiar with. He’s got it wrong. “Yes?” he tries nonetheless. “For grinding ingredients?” He’s pretty sure that’s a thing you do with food before cooking, and he’s seen Roach use a mortar and pestle for his herbs.
“Huh.” Ed’s eyebrows raise briefly. “Guess you could use it for that, yeah. But that’s not a pestle, man. That’s a dildo.”
In which Stede is about to discover what dildos are, and learns a lot about himself and Ed.

Then a leggy blond with insane hair and a sunny smile despite his busted lip saunters into his restaurant in need of a job, in need of a place to be himself safely and Ed is truly and completely fucked.

Summary
Prince Stede of Bonnet is en route to be married to the King of Low when his ship is overtaken by pirates. Stede offers himself up to the Dread Pirate Blackbeard in exchange for freeing the rest of his people. He does not expect Blackbeard to propose marriage as a part of their agreement, but if it is a choice between the kind of monster Ned is and the kind of monster Blackbeard is, that is an exceedingly easy choice to make.
