“You’ve got a loud mouth,” he muttered harshly, voice low as his lips pulled away from your own to brush against your ear, “maybe I should weld it shut and save myself the headache.”
“You wouldn’t dare,” you shoot back, brushing a loose part of his hair away from your nose, “who else would call you out on your constant bullshit?” Your head tilted slightly to meet his gaze, the golden rim of his marine eyes darkening with lust as you held your ground against him.

He lifted a hand that had been resting on the side of the sink to his jaw, running his fingers through his thick beard along the side of his jaw, over his chin and to the other side before jutting out and lifting his jaw to run his hand down his throat.
Gettin’ too long. Gonna need a trim.
He let his jaw come back down and began the process of finger combing his wet hair with both hands, attempting to work out most of the knots and kinks, eventually being fairly successful with this endeavor.
Gonna need a haircut too.
