The emperor made no time stepping into Ness personal space of the cramped shower pod. It was no bigger than 2 and a half people, leaving only a little wiggle room for the now two bodies inhabiting it.
“Kaiser, do you need something?” Innocently Ness tried to ask, craning his neck to look at the man behind him. Ness was barely fully wet, the water hadn’t even drenched his thick hair yet, and here was Kaiser.

But a simple shatter? That was fixable. Some battering around, a few chips here and there, maybe a pale perfect arm cracked clean off; that was nothing. That could be fixed. Cracks can be filled in, glued and stitched, nursed back to health by the warmth of the puppet master Mika loved most. The pain of flawed skin and shattered bones was worth it.

“Of course-!” she squawked, not unlike the birds, “I frightened them right off! Ain’t no birds allowed ‘round here thinkin’ they can eat our cherries!”
Shu laughed again, this time fully from her chest, the way Mika loved. It was music to her ears when Shu made such noises. There was nothing better.
