Summary
Taylor Kelly knew she was probably a shitty person. But most people were shitty people, so she wasn't the only one. Whatever. She had the dirt, and she was often petty, so she could have easily published the book she wrote about the 118 and Buck's life as a firefighter. But that wasn't what she wanted to be known for. She wanted people to be obsessed with her and her writing, her story telling, not just her ability to manipulate and present information in alarming ways. She still works on stories, on getting air time, but she's a little out of her depth. She doesn't exactly know how to blend in seamlessly everywhere she wants to go to get the bigger stories. Except she knows someone who can and has blended in seamlessly nearly everywhere they went. He wasn't petty, either. He always left that to her or Eddie Diaz. It's fine. It is. Because Buck would honestly just show up to see what the hell she was up to.
She just wasn't exactly prepared for him to look so good and be the friend she had been needing. In all honesty, though, Buck was a fantastic wingman.

Summary
No one is afraid of the girl who calls herself Rin-Rin, not at first. She's a genius (a couple decades of another life will do that), but she's annoying, clinging to childhood even as her body count climbs. She'd much rather be adored than feared, especially by her favorite
victimspeople. But her village is at war, and the more Rin loses to its gaping maw, the more she yearns to shed her cute mask and let her enemies know why they should be afraid.

A woman’s honour is different than a man’s; men seek to cleanse their honour with blood, while any woman can tell you that it’s hard work that removes stains.
A kunoichi’s heart is strong and enduring; it bruises where a shinobi’s breaks.
