Mike and Will are taken by the military who take a special interest in Wills powers. While Will is subject to experimentation, Mike does everything he can to keep Will safe.

"Will!" Mike crashes to the ground next to him. Gets a good look at him.
Wills eyes are dazed slightly. They latch on to Mike anyways and he seems to sag with relief. The blood from Wills nose falls onto his lip. Into his mouth.
"That was- that was amazing!" Mike brings his sleeve up and wipes the blood away. He opens his arms and lets Will collapse against him, head resting on Mikes chest and Mike doesn't even think twice about how intimate it should feel.

A story of fixing broken bonds, learning to love and flying as fast as you can but not always in the right direction. Mostly though, a story of Bradley and Jake post suicide mission.
