Summary
Caitlyn returns to her hometown of Piltover Bay after eleven years of being away for a special Kiramman Xmas event in her childhood home. Returning means reliving some of the best memories of her life, but also facing the hurt she caused.
Especially to Vi, her childhood best friend, who Caitlyn left without saying a proper goodbye to all these years ago.
Managing emotions gets hard when something is terribly amiss. It has been heavily snowing for months on end and the weather doesn't seem to give up. All up until the worst of the worst happens. An enormous storm tears the town apart.
Will the ruthless winter be able to snuff out the heated feelings Caitlyn and Vi share, or will the cold force them back together in search of long yearned-for warmth?

The dragon keeps her distance this time, not daring to approach Caitlyn again. The prince dares only a few more steps into the clearing, grass tickling the edges of her knees. The dragon lowers her head, steel eyes narrowed. But… not threatening. Caitlyn can hardly breathe at the sight of them again.
“It’s you,” Caitlyn hears herself whisper as she crouches in the tall grass. The dragon chuffs, nostrils flaring with a low rumbling sound. She can see the way the muscles tense even from here a whole clearing away.
They sit there, unmoving with a sea of wild grass between them until the sound of another pair of wings whooshing high above startles them both. Caitlyn doesn’t move, heart thrumming as she waits for the moment to turn, for the dragon to remember herself and end Caitlyn once and for all. Or for her companion to land and finish the job. But instead, red wings take to the skies again, the clouds swallowing her whole.

Summary
Late one night, Caitlyn and Vi both end up in the library cramming for exams. When Caitlyn's best friend, Jayce, doesn't answer his phone to be Caitlyn's escort across campus in the dark, Vi offers to walk Caitlyn to her car.
An insane idea to destress together during a spontaneous and very practical one-night-stand turns into many more nights, studying and de-stressing as tutors-with-benefits.
Between Caitlyn's insane Pre-Law class schedule and Vi's commitments to her Engineering degree and her captaincy of the rugby team - and their historic Runeterra University Rugby Championship (RURC) run - Caitlyn and Vi discover that they have a lot more in common than being stressed out of their minds and insanely attracted to each other.
Over the course of the school year, they fall in deeper and deeper, finding out in real time that, sometimes, true love can come from anywhere - even as unlikely a place as the Pilt U library at one o'clock in the morning.

Summary
Caitlyn's not sure exactly what she was expecting when she first walked into that classroom, but what she had found had thrown her for such a loop it almost made her dizzy. It’s almost ridiculous how attractive Vi is. Simply, mathematically, it does not add up. There has to be a catch somewhere, Caitlyn reasons.
The catch, apparently, is that Vi is her coworker, teetering on the edge of being too old for her, and their families absolutely despise each other.
Or: Caitlyn and Vi were both injured in the same freak accident 13 years ago and are supposed to hate each other. Somehow they both end up teaching at the same university. Chaos ensues.
