Summary
An oversized panda interrupts Akane's fuming by walking in through the front door, a short, loudmouthed, pigtailed figure slung over its shoulder. Soun places himself between his daughters and the bear, the diminutive newcomer in the Chinese shirt is set down, and their identity as the Tendo sisters' prospective fiancé is revealed. A hug, followed by confusion.
In another universe, Nabiki would begin prodding at a shortstack's prodigious chest, pointing out the clear discrepancy with the 'fiancé' issue.
Here, the answer is not so clear cut. Who is Saotome Ranma? What is Saotome Ranma? Nobody knows quite yet.
Not even Ranma.

Which means they're headed for the Tendo Dojo, home of his Uncle Tendo, and his childhood best friend and rival, Akane Tendo, who couldn't possibly have changed too much while he was gone!
And in the end, he has to face just how much knowing her can change him as well.
