Summary
The Addams Family curse has plagued their lineage for centuries, giving them a large family tree and an even more expansive cemetery. For a member of the Addams Family, love is unlike any other experience in their lives. But unrequited love for an Addams is a death sentence of heartbreak and insanity. Over half of the Addams cemetery is dedicated to those who had loved but were unloved in return. And now the youngest daughter of their lineage was destined to be buried there as well, and alarmingly soon too. Her love fruitless and her beloved with another. So, with an uncompromising determination she threw herself into all kinds of dangers in a desperate endeavor to keep herself out of the curse-damned part of the burial grounds. “Find Medusa?” Percy spluttered, trying and failing not to sound indignant. “Nobody wants to find Medusa. You run into Medusa while trying to retrieve your uncle’s stolen lightning bolt and then mail her head to the gods after she keeps talking about how your eyes are like your father’s.”
From behind him, Piper raised a single finger. “When you mail what to whom?”
Percy glanced over his shoulder to give her a shrug. “Don’t worry about it. I was twelve,” he said before turning back to where Gabe was still fighting against the ropes binding his hands together. “Do you have any idea what to do with him?”
Nico leaned over, craning his neck to better peer at the hot sauce that still stained Gabe’s face despite the years of statue-ification. “Um, we could see if your dad wants to turn him into a fish or something?”
Percy grimaced. If Gabe Ugliano was a fish, then he’d be forced to hear the man’s voice in his head for years to come. But also, he could maybe mount him on a wall, so perhaps it wasn’t an entirely terrible idea.

Medusa’s sculptures are mysteriously coming back to life. Percy doesn’t think murder is an unreasonable action given the circumstances.

Summary
Tony flicks his gaze toward the group of students gawking and does a compulsory once-over. He doesn’t seem to be looking for Peter. Peter sinks deep in his hoodie and prays he blends in anyway.
Unfortunately, Tony catches his eye, does a double-take, and smiles. “Oh, hey!” he says as he walks over. Then, to Peter’s eternal mortification, Tony sticks one end of a piece of metal in his mouth so he has a free hand to ruffle Peter’s hair. With the piece still in his mouth and muffling his voice, he says, “Didn’t know you were here. I have to go talk with Dr. Karim in her lab right now, sorry I can’t stay and chat longer.”
Peter goes on a field trip, Tony doesn’t know, and FRIDAY wants revenge.
