"It’s about Akechi," he finally says.
Ryuji takes a sip of water. "Who?"
Akira sighs, speaking louder this time, "Akechi."
There’s a long pause as Ryuji takes that in.
"Is that a coworker of yours?"
Akira looks up. Ryuji looks confused.
"Akechi Goro, Ryuji," Akira's mouth says for him because his mind is already trying to escape the lunacy of this interaction.
Ryuji scratches the back of his neck. "Sorry, man. Y’know how I am with names. Tell me about him, maybe I'll remember."*****
The world wants to erase Akechi Goro from history. Akira is not about to let that happen.
