Summary
After finding a beautifully bound book titled “Journey into the Labyrinth” in your university library and being told to keep it, you take the uncatalogued book home over the seasonal break. However when school is suddenly shifted online, you start finding marbles everywhere you go, mysterious hijinks occur, and a large white owl suddenly decides to nest in the tree out your little house’s window, you begin to wonder if something may be up with the mysterious book… (Reader is written as Gender Neutral! Hopefully)

Valtiel watched her go, twitching irregularly. When she was gone, he lowered his head and then picked up a stray blonde hair from the ground, and twirled it between his fingers.
"Are you real?"
Heather Mason is a grown-ass adult who's afraid of the dark. What she really needs is a therapist who can help her peel back the layers of that Freudian Madhouse she experienced, but it's kind of hard to find those out in the real world where talking about the split headed dogs you've encountered leads to people assuming you've had a psychotic break with reality.
While she and the other Silent Hill Survivors have a bit of a support group in one other, things only really start getting better—and worse—when a strangely benevolent monster starts showing up on her ceiling again...
... And as always, things inevitably go back to hell.

Summary
During the course of your medical studies, you'd learned a lot of things- how to properly disinfect and stitch back together a wound, how to pop back in a dislocated shoulder, how to push your body past human limitations in order to study during ungodly hours of the night...
But you'd never learned how to properly deal with the terrifying prospect of demonic invasions, and by extension- possibly meeting your death at the hands of a beast from hell.
But luckily for you, you were a quick learner on the job. Even more so after being saved by The Doom Slayer himself and forming an unlikely friendship with the giant space marine and his sentient intelligence friend, VEGA.
However, the biggest lesson is yet to come. How to trust and put your faith in your newfound friend when facing a possibly world-ending demonic apocalyptic event? And, is that truly what you wanted to be to the Slayer... a friend? ... or perhaps something more?
