Summary
Christmas Eve 2025, another year in the Narukami household has passed, another year of memories for Kotone, Yu, their daughter Mika, and possibly the first seeds of such for their son Makoto. Tradition, their small family always comes together at Christmas, thanks in no small part to Kotone's fixation on "the West" and as always Yu's parents show up along with Yu's cousin Nanako and Kotone's best friend/found sister Tae Takemi. However, this year Kotone has invited a young co-worker from the middle school as well, and naturally Eimi Amamiya is bringing her husband Ren. There's just one massive issue, unbeknownst to Kotone Ren and Nanako have a sordid history. What should be a celebration of family and the joyful announcement that a third Narukami child is on the way turns into something visceral, a scab being ripped off of both Nanako and Ren.

Summary
Opportunities and mistakes are two sides of the same coin, all that matters is which side you look at. Another Christmas rolls around, and for the Narukami family such means another visit from Nanako Dojima, cousin of the patriarch Yu. Mika and her baby brother Makoto accompany the college student out for lunch at Aiya's, even loving parents need their alone time after all. However, Makoto spots a lady in red waiting outside as the talkative owner converses with Nanako. When Mika brings attention to her brother's fixation, Nanako's mood sours… but this only makes Mika more curious about who this woman could be.
