Why is it that "change" and "acceptance" go hand-in-hand when they're opposites?
A retelling of Persona 4 following the eyes of an OC, who is a terrible person, featuring a sparse number of soundtracks and possibly an even sparser number of illustrations once gesture drawings don't make me want to jam my stylus up multiple orifices.

Of the people trapped, one mysterious group of people started punishing those who started taking advantage of the situation and hurt their fellow players. That group would eventually become known as the Phantom Thieves.
At least... That was where Makoto Niijima had hoped the story would end. Now, with her boyfriend/husband/it's complicated in a trace-like state, she has to attempt to explain their story from the beginning, along with others, in order to potentially stir him to action. If her mission fails... The fate of Japan may as well fall with it.

Finding out what happened to his friends is important, and returning home is absolutely a priority once he has made sure his friends are alright, but he also isn't the kind of person to ignore incoming disasters, especially if it'll affect all these people he's meeting now. How to face a threat he can't even figure out, especially when he can't use Personas? And even if he manages to do so...
...will he still be able to return home?
Balancing a potential disastrous scenario in the future, the knowledge he's surrounded by a completely different species, and the new maze of relationships he finds himself in is difficult, but Yu Narukami is willing to give it a try.

It's been freaking AGES since Yu left (It's literally been less than two months, but schematics) so when the Golden transfer student himself returns for Golden Week, every single one of his friends are ecstatic. Ranging from the Junes Department Store Manager's son to the local cool beauty/year 1 university student...it all goes to show that Yu was the type of person who could connect with all types of people. Including people he wasn't exactly destined to normally "meet," all things considered.
So, to celebrate, Yu and his trusted companions all get together and start kicking the shit out of each other-wait, no, friends aren't supposed to do that...!
Well, that's what the broadcast that Yosuke saw the day before said was going to happen. And here Yosuke thought that he could simply hang out with all of his friends together like old times WITHOUT getting wrapped into something mind-numbingly surreal. Well, whatever! Knowing his Partner like he does, Yosuke is confident that Yu will just come in and handle this entire thing, making more bonds like nobody's business!
...Just one minor snag, though. This isn't about Yu anymore.
