Summary
Bakugou is a 24 year old working Pro Hero, living his dream life in the top ten with former childhood friend turned professional partner, Deku. Unfortunately, he is having trouble letting go of old habits (read: being a bitch), and is becoming too self aware to live with it anymore. He’s almost 25, for fuck’s sake. It’s embarrassing.
When he approaches Izuku for advice, he gets a little more than he bargained for, although it isn’t…exactly…unhelpful…

“Do I know you?” Sokka asked his mysterious benefactor once he had finally regained his voice, hoarse as it was. He could swear he looked eerily familiar, but his head was still throbbing too much for him to process information at its typical speed.
“It is possible,” said the man with an irritatingly cheeky twinkle in his eye, “as I do know my nephew has been quite the pain in your butt.”
Sokka’s jaw dropped, and the pain pulsing through his cranium was quickly replaced with a surge of terrified adrenaline. “No,” he gasped. “Are you fucking kidding me?” He decided on the spot that he would rather have drowned.
In which Sokka survives the storm, only to be met with an even worse fate, in the form of a vile, furious prince with the worst haircut he’s ever seen.

Bakugou’s face scrunched up as he clearly waged some kind of internal battle before he deflated slightly, a long, annoyed breath forced from him. He plonked himself directly on the edge of Eijirou’s bed, huffing again.
Eijirou watched, waiting by the door of his own room as his bestie pulled several vile expressions, and then scrubbed a hand over one side of his face.
“It’s bullshit.”
“I know. I know it is, man,” Eijirou finally moved closer, bending to pick up scraps of paper and errant rubbish from across his floor, dropping each piece quickly into the bin before setting it back to rights.
“…I was gonna pick that up, you know,” Bakugou growled, the deep vibration in the back of his throat something he couldn’t have achieved more than a few days ago.
He’d begun his presentation.
