The First Spinjitzu Master gives what Kai can only interpret as a look of pity. "It will be difficult, impossible even. And you will have to do it alone." His empty eyes bear into Kai from the shadows of his face. "Do you understand me, Master of Fire? No one will remember you. No one will know you. You will not exist to anyone." He pauses, and Kai startles to hear a thread of pure sorrow in his voice. "You will not exist to them."

Summary
During the fight with Yaldabaoth, the False God of Creation, in a final gambit, unleashes one final attack on the exhausted Phantom Thieves, killing both himself and them. Just as the Thieves' souls are about to return to the Sea of Souls, Philemon appears before them and offers them a choice. Return to the sea to be reincarnated, or start from the beginning. For a group of outcasted young adults, the answer to them was obvious. But will this fresh start end the same? Or will unexpected events change what they know. (Persona 5 Vanilla Thieves sent to the start of Persona 5 Royal. Tactica and Strikers included.)

Or, this is my attempt to better develop Ryuji as a character, given how the game and its characters often treat him so poorly, and how he's never allowed to be more than fodder for unfunny jokes (including that scene. You know which one). RyuAnn slowburn, but also focuses on Ryuji's other relationships, especially with Shiho and Ren. Updates Mondays.
