“You’re usually ambivalent regarding other people.” Scarlet points out. “I’m always here but you’ve never indicated you disliked me being around here or Tachyon-san.”
“That’s different.” Cafe says. “You’re Tachyon’s junior. Of course, you’ll be here.”
Scarlet looks at her knowingly. Scarlet’s eyes are a much brighter red than Tachyon’s that it looks almost pink. Still, it sometimes looks like hers, especially when she’s assessing something. Cafe feels as if she’s currently being assessed by Scarlet right now.
“Are you jealous, Cafe-san?” Scarlet says, a gossipy look on her face.
Cafe feels herself turn red and hot at the insinuation.
or, someone interns at Tachyon's pseudo lab. Cafe does not get jealous.
