“Shouldn’t you eat first?” Utahime commented lamely.
“I am.” Gojo said happily.
That wasn’t eating. That was diabetes waiting to happen. He was a child begging for dessert first; and he won against his own self.
“That’s not—” Utahime said but Gojo’s fork in her mouth stopped her.
“Pumpkin pie.” Gojo said eagerly. “It’s good, isn’t it? I made it myself.”
He’d made 80% of the desserts present. Of course he had.
Utahime glared as he pulled the fork out.
Why was he even sitting beside her? He had a WHOLE table. But he’d taken the seat beside her.
“You should try the strawberry—” Gojo said but Utahime slid a spoonful of green bean casserole into his mouth.
Gojo gagged.
Loudly.
He leaned over his plate and let the green beans fall from his mouth without even chewing. “Who brings green bean casserole as a side dish?” He hastily wiped his mouth with a napkin and then his tongue, grimacing all the while.

And Utahime, because she despised Satoru Gojo 99.9% of the time, she responded. "Who would want to sit on your face?"
"I've never had any complaints." Gojo said as if the room wasn't holding its breath—as if she hadn't just insulted him in front of his peers.
Utahime didn't hesitate in her response. A back-to-back play just like they always did. "So you say." Because a man would say that. Any man. All men. Just to save their pride.
And then Gojo moved. He lowered one arm and hooked a finger over his blindfold. He peeled one side down so that only one piercing blue eye stared at her. "Care to find out?"
