Once upon a time, he might’ve liked to have everything done and systematic. He wanted to be good for Batman at the start, then prove himself worthy of the name ‘Robin’ in the best way he could. He hated getting bored and loved a cold case to solve or people to analyse in order to understand them better.
Now, it was a need. He needed things done. He had to take care of something far greater than himself or his boredom. It wasn’t fun anymore. Well, it never really was fun, but either something close to that or something he could pretend was fun; it wasn’t something to relax to, something to calm his mind or occupy him. It was an ‘I have to’.
He could get out of this, but...he didn’t want to. He wanted his best friend to kidnap him and take him far away from this city and his responsibilities.
Kon smiled brightly. Tim’s lips quirked up, too, involuntarily.
“Pack up, Boy Wonder! We're leaving! Right. Now.”

He was wearing that jacket. That damn, stupid black jacket with the House of El crest printed on the back. It wasn't an indestructible Kryptonian suit; it was street clothes, wrinkled, clinging to his shoulders, terribly real and mundane.
Tim blinked. Once, twice. Waiting for the hallucination to dissolve, waiting for it to be the fatigue, the stress, the unresolved grief, or a cruel joke from his own treacherous mind projecting his deepest desires onto the cold glass.
But the image didn't disappear.

The horror movie marathon seemed like a decent plan. Rated R films that he'd been meaning to watch anyways, and the opportunity to guide the soon to be high school graduates of his flock into their new adult freedoms. Or whatever.
Craig was just trying to show his support to the youth he was supposed to watch over. If he could just get them to see they were safe and understood here, then maybe they would actually turn to him when they needed help. He was on their side.
The imp was even invited too.
But the imp could see things in the dark that the pastor could not, and he had his own way of sorting out sins.
