"Sakura-kun," Suo was talking again, had stepped closer to where Sakura was seated.
Sakura had found comfort in sitting at the edge of the roof, letting his legs hang over the side. He enjoyed the rush of adrenaline when the wind got a bit too rough, but those days were over. Someone— probably Umemiya— had seen it and thought it dangerous, and now his access to the edge had been taken. So he found himself sitting on the couch, staring past all the plants to look at the town.
"Will you look at me, at least?"
Suo wasn't one who begged, and the genuine sadness in his voice pulled at Sakura's chest. The painful part that followed was the doubt about Suo's genuineness, the twitch of skepticism that still bubbled under his skin. Still, he turned slightly, pulling his legs up and resting his cheek on his knees to look at his vice-captain.

Summary
