The sprawling mountains of the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary offered a perfect chance for renewed self-discovery. Lush landscapes. Majestic beasts. It was intended to be Hermione’s escape. Except, she hadn’t been alone in that plan.
Four years had passed since she last saw him, and to her knowledge, no one else in Britain had either. Rumours had sprouted like plants under a Herbivicus Charm after he failed to return for the second half of their final year at Hogwarts. Summary
Five years after the war, Hermione Granger has very little time for something like a relationship. She's far too busy trying to run the Bureau for Endangered Creatures efficiently, dealing with budget cuts and ignorant ministry officials and finding a way to somehow restore her parents' memories, who are still in Australia and none the wiser about the existence of their daughter.
When she discovers that the Wizengamot plans to use Draco Malfoy as a scapegoat whilst dealing with elusive Voldemort loyalists, she offers to testify for him. She's not quite sure how it led to her trying on wedding dresses under the watchful eye of Narcissa Malfoy.

Summary
Seven years ago, Hermione Granger gave evidence to the Wizengamot that helped keep Draco Malfoy out of Azkaban. Six years ago they completed their final year at Hogwarts - and since then there has been no contact between them. Hermione would be perfectly happy to keep it that way, but when a dangerous Dark object threatens the life of one of her dearest friends she has no choice but to seek Malfoy out and beg for his help.
What she discovers when she finds him is not at all what she expected and now she's intrigued - intrigued and determined not to let him disappear again before she's managed to uncover his secret. A secret Draco definitely does not want her finding out.
