Summary
A loud screech nearby suddenly interrupted and stopped the brothers in their tracks, a quite fancy car rolled up to the curb beside them. Both of the males instantly recognized the car and who owned it, the driver rolling down their window.
"Ha cha cha! If it isn't my old pal, Mickey and his unlucky brother, Oswald! Quite a treat seeing you two walking down the street this late at night! And in the rain!" The rival of the popular toon, Mortimer laughed.
"Hello, Mortimer." Mickey responded. Honestly, anytime he spoke to Mortimer, he was in fact annoyed but hated putting up a front of hatred. It wasn't in his nature to hold grudges, no matter who the person was. His sibling, though, was someone who's hatred of someone could almost win a boxing match with his pal, Donald Duck's unrelentless temper.
"Whaddya want, rat man?! I've kicked yer ass many times an' I won't hesitate ta' do it again if ya wanna mess with Mick an' me!" Oswald removed one of his ears and held it up in a batting position, aimed right at Mortimer's head.
(Otherwise known as an entire fic about MortiMick with Oswald as super protective third wheel)

Haunted by a past he can't escape and a present that threatens to be a rope around his throat, Flippy tries to put his life back in balance before his mind, or worse, is destroyed.
