    “No no no no no no no no!” Tony cried, chasing his phone as it sloshed along the dirty runoff of the city’s streets. He knew it was futile, but it still stung as he was forced to watch it disappear down a storm drain.

    “You have got to be kidding me,” he groaned miserably, just as a truck zoomed by and splashed him with more filthy water. “Really? Really?” he fumed, which of course was when it started to rain again.

    Tony closed his eyes. Honestly, he wasn’t even surprised anymore. Because his day so far? Had completely sucked.

    In which Tony is having a really bad day, Bucky makes it better, and, oh yeah, Tony might have been turned into a vampire.

Of course he did, that was why he was drawn to them, had ended up here, helping, and if that thing occasionally wandered into fantasy territory, even fantasies about his charges, well, he never acted on them so it hardly mattered. James, here, seemed destined to test that resolve with every atom of his being.

    Antonio Carbonell Stark is chef and owner of the 'Ristorante Carbonell', a little eatery in the heart of Manhattan that has served as a neutral meeting place for werewolves, witches and vampires for well over a hundred years.

     

    He doesn't tolerate rude human customers, badly behaved supernatural customers, and despite the way Vamp!James Barnes stares at him all red eyed and wanting, Antonio doesn't have any time to be courted by the gorgeous vampire either... ...or does he?

    "Stay right here with me." James murmured. "I won't let nothin' happen t'ya."

    "Signore Barnes." Antonio warned the vampire in his frostiest tone, "If this plan fails, I will cut your fangs from your gorgeous mouth and use them as jewelry, capisci?"

    James only barely quieted the urge to laugh. "You're gorgeous." He set his huge hand a little firmer at Antonio's thigh, fingers spread wide and possessive in a show for the other vampires. "Jus' be good for me, yeah? Jus' for a bit."
