Squinting as you step out of the thick forest, your breath hitches alongside your heartbeat at the surprising sight before you. The three hunters have arrived before you and compiled as a heap of dead, limp bodies. Blood trickling down their fingers, staining their useless weapons on the ground. While wiping her hands with lazy graceful dapping, her azure eyes not addressing you, too focused on cleaning her long-clawed fingers from the blood, as if it was a minor inconvenience like spilled wine. Your breaths are audible, and you don't even try to hide it. You know this vampire, but how is she able to withstand the setting sunlight? She's no ordinary vampire. "It's you? The legendary vampire they've been after?!" Your tone comes out more like a scoff, not betraying the knot of disappointment you feel at the identity of the legendary vampire. It feels like a cheap surprise. The vampire only glances at you, her azure eyes landing upon your tense form. She looks at you with recognition and amusement swirling in her orbs. "You sound disappointed, hunter. You expected more flair?" Her voice is light, and dripping with smugness. She chuckles, it's airy and elegant, "How quaint."
