Kai swallows, staring at the hands holding his. He closes his eyes after a moment, shaking his head. "I don't think there's much you could do, hyung. I don't know why this happens to me, either." After a pause he looks back up at a dejected looking Taehyun. "You being here like this is plenty. I appreciate it more than you know." He says in a quiet tone, gaze fixed onto the elder's.
The pair stare at each other for a long moment. The anger has long faded from Taehyun's scent, only to be replaced by something else. Something much sweeter. The werewolf has a hard time placing what exactly it is.

I always wondered if I should create this fic.
It had been something I considered when starting out on Monster High. But I always worried I wasn't skilled enough to make it. We're all friends here, so let us speak honestly. The original Nexo Knights show was poor. It always felt confused and uninspired. Even as a kid watching it I felt a bit lost sometimes. And the more I wrote Monster High stuff, making that realistic and a much more fleshed out universe, the more I had the urge to do the same to my favourite Lego theme.
So, for Nexo Knights' 10th anniversary, I will be rewriting the series! I have a few ideas. I think they're good. All I can hope is that they come off ok. Enough said. Enjoy.

Being brought back to society by one of his close friends, Yeonjun begins facing the consequences for his actions, but one consequence from fate hits him like a truck, and unveils one of the biggest threats to vampire society since Yeonjun. Regret is all he feels, especially when Yeonjun discovers someone who should have been gone a long time ago. Yeonjun needs to let him go.
