Police officer Jensen saves a young kid from a house fire and in turn needs saving by firefighter Jared when he gets stuck under a collapsed support beam. The two find themselves taking on the path to recovery together unraveling and resolving more than just the trauma of how they met. They get caught up in a larger nefarious plot of crimes that ravage the city and keep Jensen's precinct and police chief JDM on their toes.

Jared and Jensen are separated during the evacuation at the venue, and a worried Jared is determined to find his co-star, to make sure for himself that he's okay.
