Lance is happy for the new coalition—of course he is, it saves his people and his kingdom from further heartache and pain against the Galra Empire and all of the embers of its death still remaining—and he’s proud of his father for what he’s accomplished in uniting the struggling planets and sectors against their common enemy, but he hasn’t been able to tame his still-simmering bitterness at his being barred from the negotiation table.
“I know I’m getting married, Hunk.” He lets slip. Hunk’s shuffling stops, and that’s enough of a tell.

Prince Lance has always known his role to the kingdom will involve lengthy political negotiations unless a genuine tragedy should put him first in line, but it's hard to stomach an impending arranged marriage in any scenario. Especially in the scenario where Lance actually ends up engaged to the Marmoran Prince he'd spent the night admiring, and neither are made aware of it quite in time.

Summary
Being in a financially unstable position the worst thing that could possibly happen is losing your wallet with your paycheque...
... which was exactly what happened to Lance McClain.But rather than, how he expected, taking the money the finder soon returns the wallet, as well as other... goods.
If that wasn't already worrisome it seems that the leader of the Gang, that controlled the whole district, seemed to have his eye on him.
Well at least his financial worries are taken care of
- either the goods continue to be presented to him
- or he’s gong to die
