Il tirocinio finì troppo presto.
Al di là di alcuni picchi di speranza che Katsuki si rifiutava di ricordare – certamente non di conservarne il ricordo – era stato frustrante e svilente. Tuttavia gli aveva comunque permesso di rimanere lontano da casa. Ne rimpianse ogni attimo non appena varcò la soglia del luogo che odiava con fibra del suo essere: sua madre era a lavoro, e questo Katsuki lo aveva previsto.
Ma il suo patrigno lo aspettava sulla soglia.

The worst part about all this was that Toga didn’t want anything. She wasn’t after information, she wasn’t trying to rescue her friends from Tartarus. She wasn’t even keeping him hostage for leverage purposes. All she wanted, her sole purpose, was to hurt Izuku in the most creative ways she possibly could. She wanted to break him. She wanted him to come undone.
She was succeeding.
Because after what felt like a month – but in reality had been just six days of pure endurance –, Izuku broke.After a fight with Kacchan, Izuku is left heartbroken and just vulnerable enough to be drugged and kidnapped by no one other than the very person who loves to see him suffer. It's up for Katsuki to realize what happened and bring him back to safety before it's too late.
Written for the prompt: There is an attack, Deku got captured, maybe some psychological torture against Katsuki with video of Deku being tortured? And then the Bakusquad find the hideout, Katsuki bring back Deku safely home and a lot of comfort!

Summary
For the first fourteen or so years of his life, Izuku believed his future was bright- he was going to be a hero.
And now, everything feels wrong. As if there was an opportunity within his grasp, as if something was supposed to happen but it didn’t and now Izuku is stuck in a doomed timeline straight out of a science fiction movie.

When did everything fall apart? At which point did his life begin to go off the rails, and he was sent on a collision course with disaster?
He looks at the eight or so memories laid out before him- (i. History Class), (ii. Phone Calls), (iii. All Might), (iv. The Sludge Villain Incident), (vi. Kacchan’s UA Acceptance), (vii. The Argument), (viii. The Truth)
He's staring at those memories and thinks maybe, it was always meant to be like this. Maybe his event horizon was when he was born without a quirk, and all of his hopes and dreams were naive delusions.
