Summary
Maybe it's lonely at the top. Maybe it's lonely hiding. But Dai Yanqi can never regret having to wrap up almost everything that's made up her so that she could play Glory. Never regretted the fact that she would never stand next to her teammates when they won, all so that she could play. Never regretted it but on some days the taste of bitterness in the back of her throat was all too familiar.
(A Generation Swap in which Dai Yanqi takes after Ye Xiu by hiding.)

Summary
At twenty three years old, Kageyama Tobio plays in his second Olympics representing Team Japan. There he re-encounters Oikawa Tooru, the man who he's been in love with since he was old enough to know what love was. And at twenty-three years old, Kageyama finally confesses, and the two share one night of passion before he wakes in the morning to find his lover gone and his number blocked. Two years later, Kageyama returns to Japan during the off-season to sort through the remainders of his grandfather's estate, which was held in trust for him until he turned twenty five. When a local university reaches out to him and asks if he'd be willing to coach their team part-time, he reluctantly accepts. Except that the team's rookie star player is none other than Oikawa Takeru. When Oikawa Tooru comes to watch his nephew's practices and games, Kageyama is brought once again into reluctant close contact with the man who broke his heart. Slowly, the two reconcile over their shared love of the sport and its players, as Kageyama helps take Takeru's team to new heights. Kageyama learns why Oikawa truly left him that night, and also that maybe his love wasn't always as one-sided as it seemed.

Summary
It was—as most things were in Tooru’s wretched, miserable life—entirely Tobio-chan’s fault.

Bookmarker's Notes
Sorry,” Sugawara purred, leaning slightly into Tooru’s space. His hair—the color of pewter and steel and liquid mercury—floated around his head like a halo. Tooru dug his fingers into the wood of the table to keep himself from reaching out to touch. “Who are you, again?”
Tooru’s mouth hinged open. “You—” he spluttered.

Bookmarker's Notes
For his part, Kageyama was simply trying to keep Tsukishima from going to jail for murder. Yamaguchi was better at talking him down, but Kageyama had discovered early on in their third year that Tsukishima viewed it as a blow to his pride to lose his temper before someone as hot-headed as Kageyama, which meant essentially that as long as Kageyama kept his cool, so did Tsukishima. It was an advantage that he’d exploited many times as Vice, and he was using it to its fullest extent now.
