“You know you can’t lie to me.” Lena says quietly, her smile only growing. She leans closer around the tiny table and her hand lands on Kara’s thigh, fingers spreading out and nails digging in ever so slightly. “Does me buying things turn you on, Kara?”
Even if Kara’s fumbled words don’t confirm Lena’s suspicions, she’s pretty sure that the crimson blush creeping up her neck is doing it for her. Lena surreptitiously moves her chair closer and leans into Kara’s space, breath hot on her cheek, and kisses a bright red lipstick mark onto the curve of her jaw.
“Noted.”

"Catra." She supplies. She’s tempted to hold out her hand so she can touch Adora, but she has her hands full.
"Catra," Adora says and it feels like coming home.
For a moment, Adora stops her fidgeting, stock still as she really looks at Catra. Even though it can't be that easy—it's never that easy—Catra's heart beats wildly on the off chance that Adora remembers her.
Like always, she doesn’t remember a thing. Adora shakes her head, the spell broken as she looks down at her watch again. "I have to go." She says again, more explanation than she should ever expect to give a stranger.

Catra is immortal and Adora reincarnates. They find each other in every life.

“What do you want?” the woman spoke, her voice making Kara shiver and giving her goosebumps on her entire flesh.
“I need your help, and I will do anything for it. I’ll sell my soul to you if I have to,” she laid it all out.
The woman regarded Kara from top to bottom, then she leaned into the blonde, “Does that make me the devil?”
“I-, I…” Kara didn’t know what to say. She hadn’t thought this part through. Maybe she hadn’t thought any part through beyond coming here and asking for what she needed. “Are- are you the witch?” she managed to utter.

Adora glances at the clock on the left side of her computer screen. It’s 3:05 in the morning here, which means 9 AM on her end. She can’t pinpoint exactly when this habit started, but the time conversion happens spontaneously in her brain now, without her even noticing that she’s doing it anymore.
