“Wait for it.” Rumi’s hands press against the glass while her eyes scan the skyline excitingly. Suddenly, her hand shoots to the right. “There! Over there!”
Mira’s gaze follows to where Rumi is pointing and sees it just in time. A glimmer of gold waving through the Honmoon.
“Holy shit,” Mira mutters.
Zoey’s eyes widen. “Was that…?”
“A glimpse of the golden Honmoon,” Rumi fills in the question, her eyes shining brightly. “I think our fans like for us to be an item.”

Summary
Vi bellowed and shook Sevika roughly by the collar, striking her in the face with a sickening sound. The woman didn’t even flinch, barely registered the punch at all. Her ash-colored eyes were glazed over, half closed. Vi felt the blistering rage in her chest flare violently and then extinguish, the snarling beast heeled. Her fury was replaced by a swirling gray mass of smoke and cloud—chaotic, uncertain, impotent.
She swore under her breath at what she was about to do next.

What if Vi had a change of heart during her second round with Sevika? Could it change the course of history, or would fate catch up to our characters in the end, one way or another?
