Summary
Byleth Eisner wakes up to find themself at the start of their journey as a teacher of Garreg Mach, one of the many problems of course being that they have the distinct impression that they’ve done this before and whatever they did last time led them to an early grave. This time when they awake, they're equipped with all the skills they've accumulated from their previous loops, but none of the memory of what went wrong. If the lack of memory wasn't enough, Byleth finds herself as a woman of Fodlan, with a newly acquired girlhood that conflicts with her past memories as a boy. Now she has to wrestle with her newfound identity and determine if she's going to commit to this timeline or find a way out. All the while the world adjust to her changes causing a small rift in the story she already could hardly remember. Can she overcome her indecisiveness or will she become a victim of her own perfectionism? Not even Sothis knows.

In short, wacky trans woman author writes a Byleth actually participating in Fodlan's very flawed gender roles instead of coming into the game somehow not knowing a damn thing about Fodlan, the church and societal expectations like she was raised by damn wolves or something. -

Summary

Summary
The war had ended resulting in Fóldan's unification under one banner. Emperor Edelgard had seen to the separation of the Church and the State, and had led a career dedicated to bringing Fódlan together. In ten short years, she had made the changes she sought to correct and now must begin a new journey as she settles into retirement, leaving her power to the newly established Ardrestian Republic.
Recovering from a harrowing treatment to remove the Crest of Flames, she finds herself powerless and weak as she recovers with her two closest friends, the Lady and Lord Vestra and their three children. Confronting her feelings she has long since ignored through the duties of her work, she finds conflict within herself on where she must go now that the path she has laid out for herself has ended.
Meanwhile the married couple seek to resolve their own issues, from inner demons and civil unrest alike. As a new age of Fódlan has reached its dawn, new problems begin to arise.

On yet another one of those peaceful days her good mood instantly gets soured when a Demon, disguised as a human tourist, casually saunters into her cathedral and promptly tries to see how much she can further annoy Rhea by subtly getting on all her nerves at once.

She thought she imagined the tremble in her former student’s voice as it echoed across the grand and lonely throne room.“I knew that when we met again that one of us would breathe our last. Some part of me had always thought that your path would lie across my grave. Until now… I could not truly accept that it would be mine that lies across yours.”
Byleth wanted to lower her head, yet she couldn’t look away. She couldn’t look away from the sadness that broke through that mask of determination.
“If you must fall, then let it be by my hand. I do not think I could bear that weight if it had been any other way.” She moved closer, the knelling of her sabatons punctuating every step.
“My teacher. I wanted… to walk with you.”
Edelgard’s strained whisper was drowned in the hum of Aymr bearing down upon Byleth’s head, scattering her last thoughts into oblivion.
Yet fate was equally cruel and kind.
She left the world at the hands of an enemy clad in her own regret.

Summary
After a long and fierce war between the Adrestian Empire and the Church, the Mad Emperor is defeated and imprisoned, her execution inevitable. An incident between the two of them leaves Rhea confused and she finds herself curious to Edelgard's past, the reasons why she became what she is today, and also what information she holds of Rhea's own enemies.
As Rhea makes her way deeper and deeper into the answers she's looking for, Edelgard helps her find herself instead.
And slowly Rhea finds herself drawn to the Mad Emperor in a way that seems to elude the both of them, as thoughts and feelings, which both of them had been suppressing and denying themselves for all their lives bubble to the surfaces in ways neither of them thought possible.With a stubborn Edelgard hellbent on creating as much hubris and chaos before her public execution, this will prove to be a difficult few weeks for the very tired Archbishop.
