"Scar came up by her side. The gap of space between them was suddenly scorching her with its heat, warmer than the fire before her. Riza shivered with the flush of pleasure the heat brought, her cheeks tinged pink. Scar was eyeing her sidelong, his gaze unashamed as it flickered up and down from her face to her body and back again.
“It gets cold so cold at night.” Riza said softly, turning her head slightly to watch Scar’s face. He frowned a little and nodded, the barest hint of movement. “How do you Ishvalans deal with it?”
Scar half turned towards her, his eyes fixed on hers. Riza licked her lips nervously. Her heart was fluttering in her chest and she felt like she couldn’t breathe.
“In the cold, it can help to have another person to warm you up. Share body heat.” Scar said this almost blankly, no inflection on any one word or phrase. There was no descernable emotion in his voice. The look on his face told it all. That look was hungry."Bookmarked by CorgiBearr
