But again, the dilemma of being too self-conscious to outright ask Jett if he wanted to fuck.
Not just that, but what if Jett turned him down? Or regret it after? Mark hated the idea of ruining one of the only genuine relationships he had in this place. These past few weeks, Jett had been his lifeline, his anchor; when the feelings of fear and despair and misery crept up on him, Jett’s charisma and happy-go-lucky self made them go away.
Did Mark really want to jeopardise that?
So, Mark came to a conclusion.
He would have to settle for something less.
Not Mark’s hand, or the couch, both fuelled by fantasies of what Jett would do to him if given the opportunity.
No, Mark would settle for Jett’s helmet.
But given how Jett never took the damn thing off, Mark would have to be sneaky about it.

But Michael knew that the flesh of women wasn’t what Gabriel hungered for.
Not that there should be any lusting or coveting whatsoever - these men had each promised their lives to God, to remain as pure and untouched as the day they were pulled screaming and bloody from the bodies of their wailing mothers, to never participate in the bodily trappings of their more worldly companions.
Michael had taken his vows and remained true to them for the better part of his fifty years of living, never once being tempted by the softness of a woman’s bosom as she passed them in the street on the way to church. He’d never considered the carnal pleasures others partook in to be part of the fabric of his world, but ever since Gabriel appeared with his devilish grins and hungry eyes, those threads were unravelling at the seams.
He’d prayed to God for guidance, to see if this was a most cruel and unusual test of his faith and dedication. He’d questioned whether Gabriel was an agent of the Enemy, sent here in sheep’s clothing to undo their meticulously-crafted lifestyle of righteousness and purity and turn their little monastery into a den of Sin and depravity.
After all, the Devil could quote scripture as well as any Angel. -

You deserve it, honestly. Please, Alan, for me. Just for tonight.”
Alan’s eyes met hers, those cool blue eyes meeting her own grey, and with a resigned sigh, he deflated and nodded slowly.
“For tonight.”
“For tonight,” she echoed.

Marcille could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks, and her tongue felt like a dead fish in her mouth as she tried getting it to work.
“W-What are you getting at?” she squeaked, knees knocking together.
The Winged Lion leaned ever closer, and fell to its knees. Even then, it still dwarfed her, and its curling black horns only made the tight squeeze in Marcille’s gut wrench even tighter.
“What I’m getting at,” it purred, a contemporary phrase sounding alien on its lips, “is that in order to fully connect as one, we need to be intimate with each other.”
Its yellow eyes glittered. “Fuck, as you Elves would say.”Marcille thought she would just about die from embarrassment. Never in her wildest dreams would she have thought those would be the words to fall from this monster’s mouth, and it made her whole body stiffen up like somebody had shoved a spear up her ass.
“WHAT?!” she shrieked, her voice ten octaves higher than usual. “ARE YOU MESSING WITH ME?”
Here she was, being propositioned for sex by a monster! Marcille had half a mind to go diving headfirst out of the window to avoid this unbearable conversation. -

The Diamond’s pastel hair sparkled in the light, and her pink eyes twinkled with curiosity as she silently inspected a ladybird making its steady way across the length of one of her gloved fingers. Pearl watched her Diamond, unblinking, focused on the larger Gem’s own look of concentration. The slightly knitted eyebrows, the small, almost unnoticeable upturn of one side of her mouth.
Things that other Gems in her court had likely never noticed, partially because they were never permitted to get too close to her.
But Pearl considered herself incredibly lucky to not just notice all these small details about her Diamond, but to be the only one who got to see them like this.
