"Lan Zhan, are you--" Wei Wuxian looks up to meet his eyes. "I thought you Lans didn't drink?"
"We don't," Lan Xichen replies. He can't hold in an exasperated sigh. "Except, apparently, where you are involved."
Lan Wangji gets drunk. Lan Xichen doesn't have time for this. Wei Wuxian is confused, but handling it. Cupcakes are involved at one point.

It started after the death of Uther, the possessiveness.
Maybe it’d always been there to some degree. Merlin blamed it on their destiny, the unbreakable umbilical cord that tied them together even when they physically existed on opposite ends of the kingdom.
After Uther’s death, though, the cord tightened on Arthur’s end and Merlin went willingly.
