“I heard from Eijiro you were feeling a little under the weather?” He leads them through to his office.
“Yeah, I’ve been throwing up for a couple of days.” They sat down across from each other. Eijiro puts a reassuring hand on the back of Katsuki’s chair.
“Sorry to hear that. Do you have any other symptoms?” Tetsutetsu opens up Katsuki’s file.
“Well,” Katsuki really thinks about it. “I guess I’ve been more tired than usual, and I’ve been getting these migraines and cramps.”
“Okay.” he looked deep in thought as he wrote down Katsuki’s symptoms in his notes. “I understand your on testosterone, are you getting your period regularly?”
“I did at first but it’s become sporadic nowadays.”
“And when was your last period?”
“Oh, let me check, it wasn’t that long actually.” He checks his period app and is surprised to see 2 months have passed. “Actually it’s been longer than I thought. Two months.”
“Is there any chance that you could be pregnant?”

“It’s not something we’ve discussed too much,” Shane admits reluctantly. “I mean, I think we talked about it once or twice, after being around Hayden’s kids. But…I was afraid…I don’t know if you want…” His sentence falters and he presses a hand to his stomach, inhaling slowly like he’s trying to soothe more nausea.
It takes Ilya’s brain a few moments to process, to catch up, to piece together this half-filled puzzle Shane’s laying out for him.
“We talked about having babies,” Ilya supplies, arching an eyebrow, “are you trying to say we are…having a baby?”
Shane sucks in another slow, controlled breath. “Um, yeah. That’s what I’m trying to say.”
