    “Kaveh,” he managed to choke out, voice wrecked, and Kaveh looked back up at his face, red eyes wild with fright. “’m sorry,” he murmured, weak, and Kaveh inhaled, reaching up to steady Alhaitham’s left shoulder.
    Oh, Alhaitham was pitching sideways. His head felt like it was too heavy, lolling to the side, and Kaveh was speaking louder then, faster, but colours were dancing nauseatingly in Alhaitham’s vision, and his extremities were beginning to tingle and go numb. He shivered, involuntarily, coming to the realisation that he was freezing cold, and Kaveh’s hand cupped his cheek, words slurring together in a loud and frantic mess.

    Alhaitham comes home in the early hours of the morning, bleeding in his desire for Kaveh.
