Kris decides the only way to protect their friends from the Soul is to kill themself. They write a suicide note, but before they can carry out their plan, a dark world opens at the festival. Upon entering the dark world with Susie and Noelle, Kris finds that the suicide note is gone from their pocket and has instead become a darkner.
