Javadi twisted around. Her stance finally loosened and she smiled, white teeth flashing.
"That's not going to happen."
"Hm. See you on the ice, Crash."
"I'd really appreciate it if you didn't call me that," Jivadi said, steel in her voice. She turned and left the room.
Trinity smiled to herself as she moved through her final stretches. The girl was pretty - big eyes and a sweet smile - but she'd look even prettier when Santos crushed her dreams.
Santos and Javadi meet at World Juniors. They're both playing for Team USA, but that doesn't mean they're going to like each other. Over the years, their rivalry grows alongside an illicit attraction. As they draw in millions of viewers to college hockey and later the PWHL, they'll have to choose between fear and connection, infamy and honesty.
