All the time's I've ever thought about Ifa like an insane person are so well written and illustrated in this fic. If impressionism had a written form, this is what the depths of Ifa's trauma regarding his parents and his uncertainty with Ororon illustrated would look like. Please take a read!

They're just having a cozy afternoon, filled with music and laughter when Ifa drops a confession.

"You are so beautiful," he blurts out unabashed and watches in real-time as Ororon’s cheeks gain a darker tint. It’s adorable, Ifa thinks. The red quite suits him.
"Stop it," Ororon mumbles back and looks away. His shyness, or rather inability to accept any kind of flattery always makes Ifa ponder, and this time it’s no different. Because complimenting Ororon? It’s like pouring light into a broken cup and watching it spill through his fingers. He doesn’t know how to hold it and most certainly doesn’t think he deserves to at all. But by the archons— he’s never more beautiful than during the moments he tries to scoop it up and hold it close to his fractured soul.

“you think i haven’t noticed how clean the house is? or how big the radishes have grown in the garden?” ororon feels a flush creeping into his cheeks as ifa’s smirk bores right through his fractured soul. “i know you’ve been working hard while i’m asleep or away at work. you already do more than enough for me. even this, just cutting up a few quenepa berries to go along with my reheated tatacos… you’re perfect. okay?”
“but that won’t help with your workload. you’ll still end up exhausted. maybe i could become an assistant vet like cacucu…?”
“hahaha! no way, bro!”
with all the recent stress piling up post-war, ororon wonders if he's doing enough. ifa reassures him.

Wonderfully written, sweet and fluffy Ifaron fic with Trans!Ororon. Although Ororon may never find an answer that truly satisfies him, he can always try to give Ifa as much love as he has in his heart. <3 An excellent, saccharine, canonically accurate fic.
