Jung Hoseok had nothing to complain about; he was happy, cheery and entertaining (at least in front of his classmates), and his father was the Chief of the small village of Gwandong, Jeollanam-do, which came with almost as many cons as there were pros. But it was all exhausting, being the son of the village leader; expectations became too heavy and exhausting, weighing Hoseok down until he could no longer smile or recognize himself.
Up the river that divides Jeollanam-do from Gyeongsangnam-do, Hoseok found himself screaming next to a shrine on small hilly island that connects the two provinces. Little did he realize there was a boy watching him curiously with a bag of shrimp chips, and little did Jung Hoseok know that the Gyeongsang boy would become his moon--the brightest light in Hoseok's dark sky.
