Summary
I have many thousands of words that are just sitting on my computer, so I figured I'd post some of them!
Newest addition: George is aromantic. Dream is hopelessly in love with him. This was always going to end messily. . .right?
Dream faintly scoffs, the corner of his mouth curving upwards. "Remember how that one nurse thought we were dating?"
George forces out a laugh, wishing he'd had the foresight to predict Dream would bring that up the moment he mentioned that story. He's willing to bet he sounds slightly hysterical, his laugh sounding too shrill in his own ears. "Yeah, that was- that was wild."
"I mean, not too wild," Dream argues, his voice falsely casual. George knows he's probably one of the few people in the world who can recognize that. "It- you know, I mean it- it makes sense."
The rain begins to fall harder, drumming against the roof of the car, but it's not loud enough to drown out the rest of Dream's words or the thundering pulse of George's heartbeat.
