Summary
When Jaune falls to the Ever After, he does so alongside Winter Schnee.
Thrust into the responsibility of protecting two young children, the two must learn to rely on and trust one another to survive.
Despite the pain they’ve endured, perhaps Jaune and Winter can manage to guide and protect the both of them, even in a time, and world, apart from their own.

Summary
The Blacksmith, in all fairness, did tell them exactly what was about to happen. The problem, really, is that when five heretofore unknown figures suddenly blip into existence a good decade and a half into the past, a lot of very powerful people notice.
And many of them are less than pleased.
Or: Those five from the Ever After, Jaune Arc, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao-Long, Weiss Schnee, and Ruby Rose, do not end up in Vacuo. Instead, they end up scattered across Remnant, 12 years in the past.

Summary

Rhea is a beast because that is what Edelgard needs her to be. Sharp fangs and an acidic tongue, hatred that can be melted down and forged into a sword. Rhea sharpens it on her lust for Edelgard’s death. It is fitting, she thinks, that her only plan to excise the shadow that clings to the Empire’s heels involves a cruelty so potent that Thales could only shake her hand for it. Edelgard is a beast because that is what she was raised for.
