    Summary

He knelt in the grass as rain poured down on him.

    Diluc had already left.

    The bushes rustled.

If it had been a wild animal, say a boar or a wolf, Kaeya Alberich would’ve laughed. What a great end would it be for a filthy traitor like him to die eaten alive by some mildly dangerous beast, like he was common prey!

Truth is, something- no, someone was still there to feast on his already wounded flesh, to rip apart the rest of him.

    Or

An AU in which Kaeya's fight with Diluc lead to far different outcome, for a Fatui harbinger just happens to be in the right place at the right moment.

“What do you do with the flowers?”

Al-Haitham paused. “What do you mean?”

“Like, what do you do with the flowers you cough up? Do you keep them or…?”

He furrowed his eyebrows. “What—why would I keep them? I obviously throw them away. Why are you asking?”

“I was just wondering—I mean if you’re not using them—like, if I could possibly…have them?”

Al-Haitham stared at him incredulously. “You want my unrequited love flowers?”

“Yes?” Kaveh flushed red. “Since…since you’re not using them.”

    Since you’re not using them—

“What the hell would I be using them for? What the hell are you using them for?”

Al-Haitham has Hanahaki disease and coughs up mourning flowers. Kaveh asks if he can use them for his ascension materials.

    Summary

Zhongli raised his arms to rest on the harbinger's back, but the younger man's body flinched at the touch, prompting him to remove them again. Childe’s fists clenched just beyond his view.

"Does...being touched upset you?" Zhongli finally asked.

"I...don't know." Childe muttered into the consultant's shoulder. "Maybe I'm just not used to it."

    "But touching others is fine?"

    "...I don't know."

    ----------

Childe is subconsciously touch-starved, but consciously touch-averse due to years of rejection from his own family and keeping himself closed off from intimacy. Zhongli wishes to help him relieve that need.

    (An innocent sensory touching story.)

    Summary

You died at sixteen and woke up on a lab table with no memory of it. Your father, Dottore, says you’re “lucky to be alive,” and if the scars don’t line up and the file labeled SUBJECT M-02 is always locked, that’s none of your business. You have work to do when you aren’t at school, cleaning up Dottore’s experiments, learning how to smile through the smell of blood in the walls.

    Then you meet the Balladeer.

Scaramouche is everything you shouldn’t want: a weapon wearing a human face, a Fatui Harbinger who hates your father more than anyone else in Teyvat. He sees Dottore’s daughter, his perfect leverage, and decides to make you fall in love with him, just long enough to put a knife in the right back. It should be simple. Except you’re not as human as you think, and Scaramouche isn’t as heartless as he swears he is.
