Summary
Fix-it story for the end of Season 2.
Takeshi Kovacs has been restored from the back-up Poe made, but finds that Poe has lost a chunk of his memories in his reboot. Kovacs and Annabel Lee work together to bring their Poe back, while taking over the running of the Nevermore - not an easy task, since there is trouble brewing.
But Poe has yearnings that no AI has ever been able to fulfill - yearnings that surprise even himself. Poe wants to become human.

Summary
