Mauve moves in her late Grandma's house, and everything is good. Nothing to hide, no missing family member, no crippling guilt, no magic suppressant, no impromptu crushes on two men, that's so not happening. The Ostrich Strategy still has bright days to come, and she definitely won't need any help to keep the past from resurfacing, and the stupid acrobatic number of her heart when she happens to get out of her house in check. Nothing to see here.
Or: a lost soul moves in a quaint little village, runs from her problems and herself thinking that all she needs is a fresh start. But she finds oh so way more than that, and ends up navigating the sinuous path of healing and self-discovery. Fortunately, she couldn't be more well-accompanied for that.

No scent patches or practice to keep everything covered, suppressed— can keep his pheremones away when the person he longed for, burned himself for bit by bit every single day, is so close to him like this, breathing him in as if Cheng Xiaoshi knows everything...
He's losing the battle he stubbornly carried on for years against himself...maybe Lu Guang’s yielding was an inevitable outcome.
