Jiji's parents don't really know about the supernatural still. Mostly cause they spent the whole year in a hospital.
To them they had what they assume to be a psychotic break which leads to them trying to off themselves and their son spending a year living alone while they recovered.
Their worried about him since he doesn't seem like he wants to talk about what happened to him or how he's feeling about the whole ordeal.
Whats even weirder is that he'll be the jin they know then this very violent almost toddler personality.
The Enjojis will not give up though they will help their son. -

Reagan reckons with her inability to give social support when several attempts at comforting her best friend EXPLOSIVELY backfire. Brett grapples with his tendency to seek comfort from fictional characters instead of real people. Various typical Shadow Government shenanigans occur in the background...including some suspicious memory or timeline tampering that's created yet another obstacle to Reagan being CEO of Cognito.
I love Reagan and Brett's dynamic, but sometimes I think it's unrealistically positive? Created this story because it seems like there should be more angst rooted in how these two have such radically different emotional expression and communication styles, and that makes friendship tough sometimes.
